Kambo is a Frog Medicine from the Amazon Rain Forest, also known as the "Waxy Monkey Tree Frog" or "Phyllomedusa Bicolor". This Traditional non hallucinogenic medicine has been used by various tribes to Detox, Heal, and Strengthen the body. Known as the Vaccine of the Forest, Kambo works on all levels - Physical, Spiritual, Emotional, and Mental. It is said to clear "Panema" which translates to "Negative Energy" or "Sick Energy".  Kambo has been used by hunters to prepare them for long journeys into the forest without food and water for many days, warriors going into battle, and as a preparation for plant medicine ceremonies. Tribes often start giving the medicine to children as young as 6 months old to strengthen their immune systems and attune them to jungle conditions. Western Lab technicians have discovered and identified many naturally occurring peptides that are "Bio-available" meaning they work very symbiotically with the human body.

Kambo sessions are done either privately or in groups. The setting has the potential to be in one of the studio spaces that I utilize, in the clients home, or in nature. Coming to the session on an empty stomach, Clients should arrive with at least one gallon of water. The session begins with a prayer and intention setting. After enough water is drank to feel full, a single test dose is applied for first timers to gage the reaction. From there more can be applied until a purge is achieved. Purging usually begins after 1-3 minutes after the medicine is on the skin and can last for 15-30 minutes. Usually Purging uncomfortable, but quick and the benefits are definitely worth it. Better out than in!

 

Kambo initiates a major reboot of all systems in the body leaving people feeling refreshed, renewed and powerful for days or weeks after a single session.
